FAQs
Girls Rising Strong is a methodically curated program rooted in research-based character development. It is designed to empower young girls by cultivating, nurturing and challenging character growth, emotional intelligence, and tools for navigating adolescence, helping them transition into confident, capable young women.
GRS is tailored for girls from fourth grade through middle school. We divide participants into age-appropriate groups to ensure the curriculum is relevant and impactful.
GRS creates a safe and supportive space for girls to explore and embrace who they are, preparing them for the social, academic, and personal challenges they may face with confidence and resilience. Parents can expect a noticeable positive shift in their daughters’ self-confidence, emotional intelligence, and overall sense of agency.
We recommend enrolling at the beginning of the program to ensure your daughter receives the full benefit, but please contact us if you’re interested in joining after the program has started.
Since it is a closed group, we will not add anyone after the third session of the semester.
GRS uniquely develops a personal character as practical life skills. Our approach focuses on participants’ emotional and intellectual growth, creating a holistic environment for their transition into young and, most importantly, mature adulthood.
Yes! We end the program with a celebratory event at which participants can showcase their growth and achievements and receive a certificate of completion.
Participants should bring their GRS ToolKit (given at the first meeting) each time and an open mind! We provide all other materials necessary for the program.
You can support GRS by spreading the word, volunteering, or making a donation to help fund scholarships for girls in need. Contact us to find out how you can get involved!
